The winners and prize-winners of the district stage of the competition, as well as representatives of federal executive authorities, the Russian Export Center, administrations of the constituent entities of the Central Federal District, business organizations and associations, and representatives of the media were invited to participate in the events and the awards ceremony.
Grainrus Group companies received prizes in two nominations:
Grainrus LLC, which develops the malt production business under its own brand, Kursk Malt, ranked third in the nomination Exporter of the Year in the Field of Basic Agro-Industrial Products (large business).
Grainrus Trade LLC, a grain and oilseed trading company, ranked second in the nomination for Trader of the Year (large business). Grainrus Group (Grainrus Agro LLC) procures and sells agricultural crops grown as part of its own agricultural project in 6 regions of Russia as well as those supplied by third parties.
In the evaluation, the competition Commission focused not only on the increase in export sales and geographical expansion of supplies, but also on the companies’ active participation in international exhibitions and business missions aimed at promoting Russian products and brands in the international market.
The ceremony took place at the Dubrava Hotel in Smolensk.
The Russian Information Agency TASS acted as the operator of the ceremonial events dedicated to awarding the winners and prize-winners of the district stage of the competition, covered its results and broadcast the award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners on the information agency’s Internet resources.
