Grainrus Group has increased its production capacity by incorporating Nosters, a malt producer in the Northwestern Federal District, into its structure in September 2023. This production is one of the most modern sites in Europe.
Construction of a malt plant, elevators and a mooring complex with an area of 8.6 hectares began in 2004 on the historical territory Ust-Slavyanka in the Nevsky District of St. Petersburg. In 2008, a full production cycle was launched.
The production capacity of the Nosters malt house is 115,000 tons of light malt per year. The enterprise's food safety management system is certified according to FSSC22000. The production is fitted with modern equipment from Bühler – the Swiss manufacturer for grain processing technologies and equipment. In 2019, the company won the award of the Government of St. Petersburg “For the Quality of Goods (Products), Works and Services.”
The favorable geographical location on the bank of the Neva River and the availability of convenient railway and truck goods dispatch areas allow us to ensure a total shipment volume of at least 1,000 tons per day.
The enterprise is headed by Galina Aleksandrovna Avidonova, the 12-year continuous leader of malting production in Grainrus Group. In 2022, Galina Aleksandrovna was awarded the national certificate “Leader of the Year 2022”.
