Marketing Director Konstantin Bokser presented to each nominee a bag of Kursk Pilsner Malt and a package of hops as a prize for the second places: in the category "Best Beer" - to Timofey Suldin from Ekaterinburg for Eternal Spring saison;
in the category "Best Home Brewer" - to Pavel Kozlov from Ekaterinburg,
and to Andrey Siniagin from Perm for the "Best Guest Beer" according to the number of votes cast by the Festival visitors.
Andrey excelled at the Festival twice and took the main prize in the "Best Home Brewer" category.
According to Konstantin Bokser, the level of homebrewing in the region has grown significantly over the past half a year. And the jury almost unanimously gave their votes to the winner in the category "Best Beer in Style" – Mikhail Serov from Magnitogorsk, Cheliabinsk region for Brett-IPA E. P. A. B.
Ural traditionally cordially and highly organized welcomes guests and participants of the event. On the eve of the Festival, Tatyana Vasilyeva organized Pub Crawling along with the best craft places in the city. Among the already familiar ones are Jawsspot, The Vepr Bar, Beard Bar, Brewers, LAVCRAFT and CRAFT mini bar – Craft beer in Ekaterinburg.
Nelson Sovin with its exceptional selection of taps became the real discovery.
The next day, the atmosphere of kindness and universal love for beer reigned in the Podzemka bar. The organizers were able to match the number of guests with the capacity of the place in such a way that no one was cramped during a one-time visit, but the site did not look empty. Regional farmers, background music and fun contests in the best way contributed to maintaining the cheerful atmosphere of the beer festival until the announcement of the winners.
