Perviy Khmel beer of the Cold IPA variety with Russian hops grown in Krasnodar Krai hit the shelves in December 2022.
Joint brewing with the Knightberg brewery (St. Petersburg) was held as a part of the Practical Brewing and Best Practice Conference organized by the RealBrew magazine in St. Petersburg.
The experimental brewing event using the first harvest of hop varieties Magnum, Mandarina Bavaria and Cascade also commemorated the 15th anniversary of the Knightberg brewery.
Brewer technologist of the Knightberg brewery and editor-in-chief of the RealBrew magazine Elena Tyukina, brewer technologist at Grainrus Sergey Matveev, and a representative of the French yeast manufacturer Fermentis Vitaly Motorin participated in the brewing process.

The new Cold IPA beer brewed using the first Russian hops harvested in 2022 on the territory of the first 183-hectare industrial hop farm in the Krasnodar Krai owned by the Grainrus Group will come on the market in the Beru Vykhodnoy beer culture retail chain.
