On September 24-25, 2025, the city of Sochi hosted the 10th anniversary Southern Brewers Forum 2025, organized by "Grainrus" and "Grosbacher" companies with the support of the Union of Russian Brewers.
The event, whose main goal was to expand professional knowledge and strengthen the industry community, brought together key market players: brewing professionals, suppliers of raw materials and equipment from all over Russia and the CIS countries.
This year, the Southern Forum's program was for the first time divided into two streams: technological and business. Among the forum speakers were Daniil Briman (Union of Russian Brewers), Elena Tyukina (Real Brew), Dmitry Morozov (Grainrus), Dmitry Kikvidze (Aromatic), as well as lecturers from the Higher School of Economics and the Skolkovo School of Management.
The forum became not just a business meeting, but an epicenter of discussions about the present and future of brewing in Russia, a platform for sharing experiences and seeking inspiration. Experts examined in detail the most pressing issues of modern brewing: the latest production methods and technologies, improving product quality, and legislative changes. The tasting sessions, where theory was immediately reinforced by practice, aroused particular interest.
Participants of the business stream managed to discuss operational efficiency, personnel management, and deepen their knowledge in B2B and B2C marketing and artificial intelligence technologies. The lecture on leadership and motivation was highly appreciated, as it covered ways of enhancing a leader's self-awareness by understanding modern HR trends and using optimal motivation methods.
"Events like this are the lifeblood of our industry. Here, you not only learn something new from experts but also get an incredible energy boost from communicating with colleagues. You realize that you are not alone in your aspirations and challenges!" shares her impressions of the past Southern Forum Elena Zarubina, Chief Technologist of the "Severnaya Zvezda" (Northern Star) brewery (Sakhalin Island).
The anniversary forum was a success! The participants departed for their cities with new knowledge, contacts, and confidence that ahead lie new meetings, new challenges, and new heights in the art of brewing.
In 2026, the Southern Forum will once again open its doors to participants. To be continued!
