Grainrus Agro has successfully completed the barley harvest in the Kursk region.
This season turned out to be particularly challenging: heavy rains repeatedly interrupted fieldwork and posed risks to the crop. Nevertheless, thanks to the well-coordinated efforts and professionalism of the team, the harvest was brought in successfully.
Over 10,000 hectares were harvested with an average yield of 6 tons per hectare (net weight). Most importantly, the quality of the grain was preserved despite the difficult conditions: protein content does not exceed 10.6%, and germination remains at 98–99%.
The harvested barley will soon become the foundation for the production of Kursk Malt, a product highly valued by brewers both in Russia and abroad.
We sincerely thank our agricultural team for their dedication and hard work. Their efforts allow us to look to the future with confidence and maintain our leadership in the industry.
