In 2021, the Grainrus Group celebrates its birthday as a holding company structure.
With a flourish of the existing lines of business, such as brewing and distilling supplies, agricultural production, grain trading and logistics, we have opened new individual lines of business over the past year.
The acquisition of a malt house in the Yaroslavl region launched the production of rye malt with an annual capacity of up to 6,000 tonnes for the bakery and confectionery industries; the purchase of a greenhouse complex in the Kursk region launched a vegetable farming business.
The land bank has reached a figure of 75,000 hectares. The geography of arable land, agricultural land and production facilities in the Kursk, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Pskov and Rostov regions, as well as the Krasnodar region, has been expanded.
The number of the company's storage terminals doubled to 14 sites in 6 federal districts. We have commissioned additional grain storage capacity of up to 50,000 tonnes in the Kursk region and acquired elevator capacity with a total volume of up to 150,000 tonnes of grain and oilseeds storage in the Rostov region. In 2021, the group's workforce reached a record 1,500 employees.
The Grainrus Group aims to develop its business units, find new promising projects, and attract talented and ambitious people to the team.
