Oktyabr’skaya grain storage

Oktaybrsk Grain Storage (a pier on the Volga bank) is a logistic hub in Samara Oblast. It was constructed in 1936 and was a part of the state reserve network.

The facility was purchased by the company in 2016 and some funds targeted on improvement of its performance were invested. As a result of that a new chickpeas aeration and packaging area was commissioned.

Grain storage is made in accordance with regulatory technical documentation requirements on keeping records of grain and products, of its processing quantity and quality during the entire period of storage.

Grain reception and shipment is made from rail cars, river and costal vessels and rail cars onto trucks.

Oktyabrsk Grain Storage is located on the bank of the most important Russian river traffic artery. Its economically advantageous location is determined by the fact that the navigation period for river and costal cargo vessels lasts from May until October.
