Export deliveries of Russian malt to Canada

In June 2019, Grainrus carried out the first export deliveries of Russian malt of its own production under the brand name "Kurskiy Solod" (Kursk Malt) to Canada.

Under the contract, 40 tons of wheat and barley light malts have been delivered to Canada. The export contract for the supply of light malts manufactured by "Kurskiy Solod" was concluded in the spring of 2019.

 
The malt loading, certification and customs clearance were carried out at the warehouse terminal of the plant "Kurskiy Solod" (Kursk). The shipment was performed in shipping containers with further transfer to the Novorossiysk sea port. In early August, the cargo arrived at the ports of Halifax and Montreal in Canada.

The malt house "Kurskiy Solod" owned by Grainrus produce 125,000 tons of malt annually. The plant produces 17 varieties of basic and special malts with color of 20 to 1400 units.

Export deliveries to 18 countries in 4 continents have been carried out since the establishment and modernization of the malt house in 2016.

Quality of the products "Kurskiy Solod" have been confirmed by Russian and European independent institutions, such as VLB Berlin, International Research Center "Beer and Beverages", and also received awards and medals in international competitions and festivals.
