Raw materials for the brewing industry

Our mission is to provide brewhouses with high-quality raw materials. We are engaged in it for the last 23 years. We are glad to offer imported goods as well as the malt produced from the best European varieties of barley, grown with proper care in our own cultivated lands. 

The trading and agricultural company “Grainrus” has been operating since 1997 and has proved itself as a reliable supplier that deals with the imported and Russian raw materials used in the brewing industries of Russia, the CIS and Europe. The company possesses own logistic terminals designated for the receipt, storage and packing of the imported raw material, as well as it owns 101 000 ha of arable lands and a malting plant in the Kursk area. The total capacity of the plant is 125 thousands of tons per year. 

The malting plant “Kurski Solod (Kursk malt)” has a roasting room that has a total capacity of 6000 tons per year. The malting plant produces 21 basic and special malting barley, wheat, buckwheat, oat malt varieties that have chromaticity values varying between 20 and 1400 ЕВС. Since its opening, the malting plant has provided malt supplies to 18 countries on 4 continents. The products’ quality is confirmed by standards as ISO, EAC, LGC and VLB Berlin. The raw materials are supplied on inland and marine waterways, using railway lines and motor vehicles; the raw materials are transported from own silo complexes that have a storage capacity up to 100 000 tons, from inland harbours and own storage facilities in 12 cities from Moscow to Vladivostok.
